Advanced PainCare helps you get back to your active life.
Pain is disruptive. It keeps you from the things you love and can be a constant source of worry. Everyday tasks like carrying groceries, washing your car or just walking up the stairs can become difficult if you are in pain. Pain can keep you from playing with your children or grandchildren. It can reduce your productivity at work. It can even keep you from work altogether.
At Advanced PainCare, we offer a patient-centric approach to helping you reduce and eliminate your pain and get back to a normal life. Our dual-board-certified pain specialists listen to your needs and tailor a plan specific to your pain. That’s the first and most important step in your recovery.
Our doctors always put patients first. We offer the most advanced nonsurgical and minimally invasive treatments, which allow many patients to avoid evasive surgery and/or large doses of medication.
Jean Louise Santo, MD
“I decided to go to medical school because no other profession came close for me. I see how pain affects people, their families and their lives. There was never any doubt what direction I would take once entering into medical practice. I made a promise that I would always listen to my patients and do everything possible to help make a difference in their lives. One of the things my patients often comment about is how I listen to them and make them feel cared for.”

Cynthia Maki, MS, RD, Dietician
“Most people know that proper diet can reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as obesity and diabetes. But did you know that diet can also reduce pain? Your own body has an amazing capacity to heal itself if nourished with the right foods. Modern medicine works better when coupled with good nutrition. Inflammation and the pain associated with it can be reduced by eating an anti-inflammatory, nutrient rich diet. My goal is not to impose a short-term meal plan but to begin to change the way you think about food and its impact on your health and well-being.”
Cynthia is a Registered Dietician who has personal experience in reducing pain associated with arthritis via dietary changes. She is knowledgeable about weight management, food sensitivities and the impact of food on inflammation. Rather than a “one diet fits all” approach, Cynthia assesses each of her clients individually and bases her recommended nutrition strategies on their personal needs.
